Windsor Arms Wedding Photos featuring U of T Wedding Portraits

Sometimes we are gifted with wonderful opportunities as photographers as was presented by our bride Olivia and her new husband Kyle. Olivia is herself a talented photographer and as such the thoughts and dreams about her wedding day revolved around the photos she would have to remember it by. She told us if we needed anything to make the images better to just do it, and we are so glad she did. From the getting ready at the Windsor Arms Hotel through the first look and wedding photos at Knox College at U of T and the bedeken, ceremony, breaking of the glass, blessings, breaking of the bread and reception in the main hall at Windsor Arms we were firing on all cylinders and have fallen in love with these wedding pictures.

It was certainly a busy morning with all the girls getting their hair and makeup done in the same place but despite the business I love the energy of these times of best friends together.

Sherry took her time capturing some beautiful details as Olivia said “I LOVE THESE SHOES!”The bride brought along a rented snow machine as she had a specific vision in mind for her wedding so Sherry became a snow machine expert in minutes and provided all the white stuff we could want for the pictures. This is something new we’ve been playing around with for a while and I love the results. We’ve used some extra lighting gear we carry with us to create interesting textures and patterns which make familiar places look new and different. The horah at a jewish wedding is one of the best things at weddings. This celebration and raising of the bride and groom on chairs to parade them around the dance floor coupled with the awesome energy and action of the traditional Jewish wedding dances is awesome.Congratulations to Kyle & Olivia on their wedding day, we are so happy for you guys.
