There were so many beautiful moments in Pejman & Elizabeth’s Bellvue Manor Wedding Photos. Sherry and I were hired to capture wonderful emotion, reactions and to give the feeling of being at the wedding. The venue chosen for their ceremony and reception was Bellvue Manor in Toronto and their ceremony was held in the library at the wonderful facility.
These two had a joint Persian and Asian wedding complete with an Sofreh Aghd, along with the traditional red chinese wedding gown. It was a beautiful combination of traditions with the main focus of course being the union of the wonderful couple.
The Asian wedding ceremony starts very early with the bartering for the bride and the door games to go along with them. This includes many activities the groom and groomsmen must do in order to earn the right of the bride. Always fun and full of laughs my favorite for this wedding was the “hair management” that was required from the groom. (you can see pictures below).
Next it is off to the venue where the beautiful decor and the setup for the Sofreh Aghd. This is a collection of traditional items is placed in front of the bride and groom as they get married. Each item signifies a different things such as eternity, prosperity and fortune. Once assembled it adds a beautiful look at the ages old Persian tradition.
Once family photos were completed, it was in for a beautiful first dance, dinner, and party that lasted well into the evening. You can see a selection of their photos below.

The Bellvue Manor Library was the location for the ceremony
