Sun Peaks Grand Winter Wedding

Beautifully nestled in the hills up above Kamloops, B.C. is the winter wedding destination of the Sun Peaks Resort. The best place to get married in Sun Peaks is of course the Sun Peaks Grand. This Sun Peaks Grand wedding took place on a snowy Saturday in December where they were wed on the balcony of the Grand Hotel, and they even made a trek up to the peak of the mountain to the cute chapel at the top. This Irish wedding was full of blessings and beautiful moments.

This is my favourite place in Kamloops for weddings as no matter what season it is it feels like a getaway from the city, and a destination wedding that doesn’t require much travel. The vibe around Sun Peaks is always upbeat as it’s filled with people who are vacationing from their regular city life. Add that to the fact that the wedding staff at the Grand is phenomenal. As people who attend a LOT of weddings we have a front row seat to see who takes care of their clients and who fall short. The staff at Sun Peaks Grand shines!

Capable of hosting up to 300 guests for weddings it is the perfect spot for small, medium or large sized wedding guest lists.

Wedding Photography at Sun Peaks

Greg & Kate love the outdoors and it’s one of the things that drew them to bring their families all the way from Ireland to enjoy the beautiful nature of Sun Peaks. As a bonus they spent a week before the wedding hanging out with their families and enjoying the time together. So of course when it came time to take photos of the family everyone was having a great time with each other which always makes the photos look great. Happy, fun loving and joyful people make the best photos because it brings out the best we want to see in ourselves and in those we love. The bridal party, family, friends, and reception were all fantastic. Whether the photos are taken inside the hotel, out on the slopes or at the top of the mountain, this is a great spot.
