Cranberry Resort in Collingwood is one of the few resorts with conference space for larger wedding parties and guest lists. They own one of the premier pieces of property near Blue Mountain as they sit on a break wall which stretches out into Georgian Bay. Their wedding ceremony location sits in a bay so as you watch the ceremony the only thing in your background is the beautiful blue waters of the place named after the famous colour of the lake. This all in one wedding venue is among the best on Georgian Bay as it offers wonderful hotel suites, excellent food and an atmosphere which is tough to beat.
We love being Cranberry Resort wedding photographers because the ceremony spot is shielded from the wind making it warmer in the spring and fall and it gives our clients the comfort of having all of their beautifully done hair and makeup stay in the same place during the nuptuals. There are some excellent nearby waterfront photo locations and one of our favourite sunset photos was taken just feet away from this location. We love getting intimate pictures of the emotion on mom and dad's face, the reaction of the bridal party, the flower girl and ring bearer coming down the aisle and the overall feel of love that is among the closest family and friends on the bride and groom's big day.
