I always love outdoor farm weddings because of the creativity and thought that is put into every detail of the day. This growing trend is especially popular on Pintrest, which is full of DIY ideas that are both rustic and tasteful to decorate a beautiful event. Country chic can also be portrayed in wedding photos, but this especially depends on the location of the event and the surroundings to work with. A photographer cannot easily achieve this look in the busy streets of Downtown Toronto, but rather the rural landscape of small towns in Ontario, such as the charming town of Durham. Scott and Jordan’s countryside wedding was the perfect example of this popular theme, yet it was unique in every way. The bride’s choice of style, décor, and colours were tasteful and tied together to make a lovely farm wedding.
The scenic area of Durham was not limited when it came to taking photos of the bride and groom. I especially enjoyed the classic look of this unpolished cedar rail fence. Although the fence itself was in quite rough shape, the wildflowers surrounding it and the gorgeous couple sharing an intimate moment in the background made for a stunning shot.
