It was a glad day in our office when Rachel contacted us about a winter wedding shoot in Vieux Quebec City on New Years Eve as though we have been to Quebec City many times we’ve never been in the winter. During the summer the city is fantastic and is a great place to get married, but in the winter when the snow covers everything with a clean blanket of white it turns into an absolute wonderland. It feels like you’re walking through a postcard so to be taken around to the most historic parts of the city to take photos was an absolute treat. The only downside is that it is a bit chilly this time of year, so it was a real blessing to have a driver and nice warm SUV to jump back into during the shoot.
The ceremony took place at the Chalmers-Wesley United Church and the decor and feel of the wedding was candlelit and so very romantic. The number of guests was 4 :)… The coordinator, her assistant, Sherry and me :). The two of them came to Quebec City on a nice getaway, and had a wonderful elopement while they were there.
It was awesome to be with you guys on your wedding day. Congratulations.
