Ed & Kathleen – Meaford Engagement Session
Oh what do you say about Ed & Kathleen? Well you can leave your thoughts in the comment bar below, but as for me I think they are adorable. Quirky? Yes, defiantly. Designed for one another? Oh most certainly! These two are an awesome couple who David and I are so glad to know. We had an awesome time trekking around Meaford, Ontario for their engagement shoot, one beautiful evening a couple of weeks ago.
We met up at the marina where we crawled over the rock wall just as some golden light was bathing the rocks, and I know what your thinking…awww what a romantic atmosphere..but Ed and Kathleen are not the “romantic” kind of people (at least not when someone is looking), so more to their style Ed puts Kathleen in a head-lock. Then we headed to the old moose tavern to make use of the ivy wall backdrop for some sweet karate moves, oh and some cuddling. Then as the sun was setting we stood in front of the the old fire house for some neat posing shots… Ed can be such a “poser” and always with a smile. I had a number of people ask what I was taking photos of the building or the couple kissing, and giggling in front of it. After the sun went down we did some off camera lighting shots walking down the road. I am so excited to be able to shoot Ed and Kathleen getting married in October, I can’t wait. Oh and just to let you know there probably won’t be any kicks to the head on the wedding day… at least not from Kathleen. 😛
Ed showing Kathleen some love…with a head-lock…Don’t worry Kathleen gets him back later with a kick to the head 😛
That is probably the biggest most contagious smile I have ever seen on such a cool dude. Peek-a-boo The one on the left reminds me of those rabbits that are out in the open but stay completely still because they believe you can’t see them. Thanks again guys we had a blast, I can’t wait till October to see Ed give a drop kick in a tux.
