Javier & Jesi – Married

65 of their closest family and friends joined Javier & Jesi in their spanish ceremony at St Philip Neri Church in Toronto on April 16th, 2011.  It was our distinct pleasure to be the photographers for this awesome couple as they tied the knot.  The beautiful service of which I only understood a few words, was followed by a drive downtown where we did formal photographs at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, and then proceeded to the ever beautiful Atlantis Pavilion for their intimate reception.

During the reception a Venezuelan tradition came out that I have never seen before.  Hora Loca, or crazy hour is a time where all of the guests and the bride and groom dress up in strange attire, with inflatable saxophones, crazy hats, light up glasses, and pirate hats.  Add in a spice of dance music and you have an entire reception rockn’ the dance floor having a great time.  In fact the party was hopping so much that the floor of the hall was bouncing.

Thanks Javier & Jesi and congratulations.
